Northumberland and Durham Family History Society

This society includes the county of Durham in its research. It was formed in 1975 and provides many services for a small annual fee for membership. A Quarterly Journal is available, there are many branches across the counties you can visit to help with research. They have a wide range of publications and, in particular, parish records, for sale.

Northumberland Archives

This service formerly known as the County Record Office, provides archives covering the Northumberland, Berwick-upon-Tweed record offices and the Woodhorn Document Storage service within the county.
